Liquid Biposy

How is liquid biopsy better than traditional biopsy ?

Liquid biopsy is not only limited to cancer diagnosis and treatment, but can also be used to detect heart attacks, prenatal issues, and CNS disorders. The type of sample used varies depending on the diagnosis. With this technology, it’s possible to gain a deeper understanding of molecular changes in cancer tumors, which in turn helps to determine the most effective treatment plan. One of the biggest challenges in chronic diseases like cancer treatment is the invasive nature of detection and treatment methods. Traditional tissue biopsy is costly, painful, and risky. The sample collection process is difficult, as it involves invasive surgery and increases recovery time for patients. Additionally, the procedure poses a significant risk to patients. In contrast, liquid biopsy is non-invasive, making it a safer and more comfortable option for patients.

How is the Liquid Biopsy test done?

Liquid biopsy is a test that detects cancer cells or DNA that is present in the blood. This DNA is known as circulating tumor DNA or ctDNA. Cancer cells die and are replaced just like healthy cells, when they die they release DNA into the bloodstream, a liquid biopsy is able to detect these small fragments of DNA in the blood, which come from the cancer cells.

Non Invasive testing

How is the trunome test done?

Step 01

Post-transplanted, the patient’s blood is collected. Plasma is separated from the the blood cells and our proprietary markers is extracted from it

Step 02

The sample is subjected to targeted screening of markers on our proprietary markers for differentiating Donor and recipient our proprietary markers with just the recipient sample.

Step 03

Trunome uses just a blood sample to monitor the transplanted graft’s health
